The service is always friendly, the food great and fresh, the tastes perfect. Avoid the chain joints and enjoy the real thing, made, as they proclaim by "real Mexicans."
Local family fave. Unique style and flavors that are off the very beaten Mexican cuisine path. Excellent, friendly service from family-run business. Laid back atmosphere for sitting down and crushing a yummy burrito.
Great authentic Mexican food. The staff and owner are really nice and work quickly to get you your food. The place is always super clean and is great for both eating there or for takeout. They have Mexican Coca Cola! They also have Jarritos - pretty much all the flavors. Don't pass on the home made chips - with salsa, guac, or queso!
This place is great! It is a family run authentic place focused on the freshest of ingredients. With the first bite you know that whatever you've had previously doesn't compare. I love the shrimp tacos and my husband loves the steak burrito. We've been to other places but, I take Yucatán over these as the food is far superior! I just finished my tacos now but already thinking about the next time, YUM!
The best Mexican food South of Boston ! As one who grew up out West near the Mexican border, I miss quality authentic Mexican food. This restaurant meets that need. The main courses are made to order. My son likes a couple of changes, and they freely take requests. No sauces for a bottle, theirs are made in house ! If you enjoy natural soda with real sugar rather than corn syrup, this restaurant carries Mexican Coke and Mexican Jarritos Natural Flavor sodas. For dessert, there is a wonderful flan. Get it fast. It may sell out as the day progresses. Parking is on the street; however, the food is well worth one's effort to find a space. If you are ever in the area of the Arboretum or Faulkner Hospital, you should stop by. We will be returning !
Chorizo, Mama's recipe beef, Carnitas and carne asada tacos. Phenomenal. Carnitas are uniquely their own. Carne asada was the surprise. Peppery and, most importantly, not dry crumble tough steak. Great great chorizo. Mama's recipe beef was made with real chunks not crumble beef. Will come back. And like $2.75 a taco for the most part
